leading up to our session

A couple weeks prior to our session I will be in touch to confirm all final details along with a little questions for the session so I can get to know a bit more about you, your journey and what you’re most excited for during our learning session together.

We will stay in touch to discuss your ideal family and location and all the little details that go into planning this. I will do a call out at this time too.

This doesn’t mean we can’t chat and get excited earlier then this, I’m here to chat or answer questions all the way :)

ON THE DAY

The day is here!

PRE SHOOT

We will greet each other with a big welcome hug. We will start with a brief chat about what to expect during the shoot and how it will flow. We will run through how I have prepped myself and the family, a brief explanation on my workflow during different types of sessions and how I will style them.

SHOOT TIME

What better way to learn then in person, observing and following. During the shoot you will watch me shoot while capturing along side me. I will run the session as close to normal as possible so you can see how my sessions run and flow without too much stop starting. This does not mean you won’t get a chance to ask questions, there will be plenty of time for talking you through the session and answering questions as we go but when possible I’ll save unrelated info for our chat at dinner so we can dig deeper into the answers without effecting the flow of the shoot.

THAT WAS FUN

We’ll be buzzing and after we say goodbye to our models we’ll go through any questions that weren’t covered as we shot.

From here we’ll either say goodbye and get home to admire the magic we captured together no doubt sharing all our favourites with each other or if you’ve decided to add on 1:1 chat we will head for a cocktail (or 2) and dig deeper into photography, business and you can pick my brains.
